The Studio

One hundred and four weddings. No two alike — on purpose.

Marlowe & Bloom is a two-person planning studio in San Francisco, working in Sonoma, the Hudson Valley, and wherever the wedding actually deserves to happen. We don't sell packages of borrowed ideas. We spend the first month learning how your family argues, what your grandmother's lace looks like in daylight, and which parts of a wedding day you'd happily skip — then we build the plan around that.

Real Weddings

Six weddings we actually planned.

Every wedding below happened — the venue, the guest count, the problem we solved. Hover any photograph for the details.

Priya & Daniel's wedding at Cedarline Barn, Hudson Valley, NY

Cedarline Barn, Hudson Valley, NY

120 guests · Late September

Priya & Daniel

A 120-guest barn wedding built around her grandmother's lace — we had every table runner and the bridesmaids' dresses custom-dyed to match its exact ivory.

Margaux & Théo's wedding at Windward Bluff, Marin Coast, CA

Windward Bluff, Marin Coast, CA

78 guests · May

Margaux & Théo

The cliff wind picks up at 4pm every May, without fail — so the ceremony started at 3:15 and the grass arch was anchored with sandbags no guest ever saw.

Eleanor & Sam's wedding at The Wickersham Library, Boston, MA

The Wickersham Library, Boston, MA

45 guests · October

Eleanor & Sam

Forty-five guests, six thousand books, one string quartet. The candle plan was mapped to the fire marshal’s approvals before the first tasting was booked.

Noor & James's wedding at Fern Hill Glasshouse, Rhinebeck, NY

Fern Hill Glasshouse, Rhinebeck, NY

95 guests · June

Noor & James

She wanted the greenhouse to feel like a Sicilian supper — so we sourced ninety-five pounds of lemons and every terracotta pot within a sixty-mile radius.

Harper & Leo's wedding at The Ironworks Loft, Chicago, IL

The Ironworks Loft, Chicago, IL

140 guests · December

Harper & Leo

One hundred forty guests, four hundred candles, one freight elevator. The load-in timeline ran eleven pages — and no vendor was still hauling boxes at five.

Cami & Rafa's wedding at Hacienda Solana, Santa Fe, NM

Hacienda Solana, Santa Fe, NM

110 guests · September

Cami & Rafa

Two families, two languages, one courtyard. We hired a bilingual MC and put his abuela's mole recipe on the menu, plated beside the caterer's.

Services

Three ways we work together.

The Day Itself

Anatomy of a wedding day, hour by hour.

This is roughly how a 3pm ceremony with us actually flows — what you'll be doing, and what we're doing while you do it. Nothing here is improvised on the day; all of it was decided months before.

  1. 9:00am

    Getting-ready rooms settle

You: Coffee, robes, your photographer’s first frames.

Us: We’ve already been on-site two hours — florals placed, steamer running, timelines in every vendor’s hand.

  2. 11:30am

    First look & portraits

You: See each other before the nerves arrive.

Us: We walk the shot list with the photographer so nothing runs long.

  3. 2:30pm

    Guests arrive

You: You’re hidden. They’re handed something cold.

Us: Ceremony doors open, music cues, ushers briefed.

  4. 3:15pm

    Ceremony

You: Twenty-two minutes that go by in four.

Us: Someone is holding the rings, the license, and a tissue — all three, on purpose.

  5. 4:00pm

    Family photos

    You: Smile, repeat.

Us: Hard-capped at 45 minutes with a name-by-name call list. Nobody wanders off.

  6. 5:00pm

    Cocktail hour

You: Actually drink a cocktail. Both of you.

Us: Room flip begins behind closed doors; kitchen confirms service timing.

  7. 6:15pm

    Dinner is served

You: Sit down. Eat. Look around.

Us: Toasts are queued, the DJ has the timeline, the cake is staged.

  8. 8:00pm

    Toasts & cake

You: Say the thing you wrote on the drive over.

Us: Mics live, speeches capped at ten minutes each — gently.

  9. 9:00pm

    Dance floor opens

You: You’re gone. As you should be.

Us: Lights shift, late-night snacks hit the kitchen timer, bar tabs confirmed.

  10. 10:30pm

    Send-off prep

You: Sparklers? Bubbles? A getaway golf cart?

Us: Lit, lined up, and pointed the right direction before you reappear.

  11. 11:00pm

    You leave; we stay

You: Drive away without touching a single box.

Us: We settle every vendor, pack gifts, cards & decor, and text you the all-clear by midnight.
